Weapon cam for the CBU-97 and BLU-108 Submunitions

Hi guys!

Just wondered. Have something happened to the weapon cam for the submunitions in the game? It´s pretty sweet to see the CBU.s falling to the ground and then dispense the submunitions, but I cant follow them anymore.

I can however follow the "glidepath" of the CBU all the way until they open up and release the BLU-108s, but directly after that the cam stops and I´m back in the cockpit. Am I missing something here or have they removed this feature?

It worked just fine before.

Afaik it is disabled for a few versions by now. My understanding is that this is a temporary solution to the performance issues that CBUs cause(ed). I hope, that it will be enabled again once EDGE is out ...

You can use L Ctrl + F10 to go to exterior view just before they dispense (when using using F6).

It's tough to get it right, but its the easiest way right now. I LOVE watching my CBU 87s/97s submunitions exploded all around taking out several vehicles at once.

The only thing more satisfying is a zoomed-in gun run on a grouping of enemy and seeing them (and hearing them) explode under you as you pass over them!!!

Ok thanks guys!

Too bad they removed it. Will try the LCtrl+F10 method from now on then...
