A few days ago it was updated by Wags. Then I looked at the ticket and there was nothing. The email telling me it was updated was a blank message.

I have the order number if you need it.

Can this be resolved?

EDIT: Sorry for the misunderstanding; what happened was that the ticket was updated (assigned to the appropriate administrator), but no message was sent to you.

 

I believe your problem might be that you have, at some time in the past, used the A-10C (before it was integrated into DCS World) with some other account; back in 2010 the keys were not hardlocked to the purchasing account, but rather became locked to the first using account. This changed with DCS World.

The DCS A-10C was bought with my main account. The same one all of my other DCS simulations were bought with.

 

I go to my orders and I see it sitting there.

 

If you please read my ticket; it explain everything there.

 

Again, I can see my key if I follow the "Details" link. Just like every other module.

I can play single player just fine.

 

If I follow the other link and press the button "Show Serial" it is blank.

 

Every other Module I have this is not blank. It shows my serial.

 

The master server does not see my A-10C serial when I try and login with the A10-C module activated.

 

Please read my ticket. I am sorry but I am frustrated that I keep repeating myself and my ticket explains everything in fine detail.

If you like I can even take a screen shot of my full orders page showing all of my purchases including A10-C.

 

So again, to clear any confusion here, I DID NOT purchase DCS A10C on a different account. It is the same account as all of my other purchases here.

Ive been a customer since 2009 and this is the first time I have ever had a serious issue.

 

You keep insisting its the same problem when it isnt. You havent even looked at my ticket.

 

I am a software engineeer also. I understand the logic. I figured it out on my own time and told you over a ticket.

 

Yet.... I finally get a response on my 2 week old ticket and you tell me the same god damn thing I keep on hearing. I love your sims, but as for your customer service.... its bullshit.

 

Seriously.... **** off. I feel as if you are ****ing with me now.

 

I will definitely do my best to make sure everyone knows what the hell everyone goes through here. Its really too bad.

 

I am so frustrated. It is so simple. I will give you mt freaking login if you want. this is insane. you should be able to see this and fix it.

If you are all wondering why im raging here it is this ticket response:

 

Your A-10C serial number was unbound from your account with login "[REDACTED]". You can use it with your current account "[REDACTED]". Also we can merge these accounts into one if you want. Just tell us which of them should be the main.

 

AND THANKS FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM TELLING EVERYONE MY LOGIN!!

No-one has told anyone else your logins; only you did, right now, in this thread.

Communication in the ticket is closed; no-one outside has access to it.

 

Facts of the case:

You have two accounts. The one with the "1" was possibly caused by a database merger performed back in 2011, we made an announcement about it then, and during the last year announced (and sent direct mails) asking users with multiple accounts if they want to have them merged.

 

You have been offered to have those two accounts merged. The easiest solution for you is to simply say "yes, please merge", and then the problem will be solved.

You misunderstand.

 

Let me explain:

 

Most likely you originally had one account on http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com and another account (using the same login name) on http://www.lockon.co.uk.

 

A few years ago, the databases for the two sites were merged, so the same account can be used for both sites. If the accounts were identical in name, associated e-mail adress etcetera, they were straight up merged. If there was any discrepancies, the merge could not be done in order to avoid accidently merging accounts of two different people. Thus one of the accounts gained the digit "1" at the end.

 

When DCS World was released, all keys had to be associated with one and the same account. A mass-mail went out to all affected customers asking if they wanted the accounts merged. It might have gone unnoticed, ended up in the spambox, or something like that.

 

Due to the above, your A-10C key had become associated to the account with the extra "1" on the name. The administrator asked you if you wanted the accounts merged or, if you so preferred, you wanted to do the unlinking yourself.

 

Note that purchase data is a separate matter. Before DCS World, the key would associate to whichever account used the key online first, no matter who purchased it. This means that in this case the purchase data is on the account (sans "1") that you purchased with, but the key was associated with the other account.
