archorn
At first I would like to welcome everyone here since its my first post. As i wrote in the topic's title trimmer does not remember stick's position but, for rudder it works fine. For example if I will move my stick forwards and also move my rudder to the left, then after releasing the trimmer stick goes back to center position ad rudder stays in the place. I'm using Cyborg FLY 5 joystick, it has FF on stick and rudders. Please guys tell me what am I doing wrong? One more thing- for some reason Central position trimmer mode does not work for me. Hunden Ynk
Hi archorn! Are you sure that's a Force Feedback stick? Is it this one: http://www.cyborggaming.com/prod/v5stick.htm? That page doesn't mention it having that feature, and hiding it wouldn't be too business-savvy. ;) If your stick is not FF, then disabling that option will probably fix your problem. Central position trimmer mode should not be used for FF gear, I just don't think it has any effect then. It means; instead of a set time period for the new center position to activate after you release the trim, it will activate once your control is centered. But again, if your stick is FF, you don't have to bother about re-centering, hence that setting not applying.
archorn
Thank you for the answer ;) FF works for me if stick goes back to the center itself and it does so i call it FF ;) Anyway i digged the forums in the mean time and I'm sorry for trash topic- yes turning off FF in setting solved my problems. I still wonder why rudder worked fine...
Hunden Ynk
No trash here! I still wonder why rudder worked fine... Probably because the FF setting does not effect the rudder, meaning, it's always behaving like your stick does when FF is set to off.
roob
FF works for me if stick goes back to the center itself and it does so i call it FF ;) It shouldn't center itself in-game. You should be able to "feel" how the rotors are working, e.g. move stick, trim and the stick should stay in place where you trimmed. If it is a FFB-stick, if not, don't listen to me :) My DCS stream [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Past broadcasts, Highlights Currently too much to do... But watch and (maybe) learn something :)
