Was a F35 module ever possible at all? I thought it was all extremely classified.. i saw a video just earlyer (one of the "F35 is a lemon" videos) and the camera crew wasnt even allowed to see the rear of the aircraft after it had parked... I mean how do you build a sim on something so classified?

Here's a video I took of the back of the F-35. And the side and the front! :D

The original group had planned on approaching Lockheed for licensing, it was felt that would have allowed them more access to create a decent module.

The same way you would if you were spying on your war enemy and wanted to evaluate their aircraft that they won't let you see. There's bound to be error of course, but it's not like without direct manufacturer involvement you couldn't put some limits on performance.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

While parts of the F-35 Systems/Software are Classified. Many of the Smaller Sub Systems aren't.

It would not be all that unrealistic to build generic systems with the visual/mechanical/software representation of the systems you see in the cockpit/exterior videos.

Unless you're an F-35 Pilot (which are Few still),

You wouldn't even know that the system/software was a generic representation of the actual real life system.

Do you really think DiD accurately re-created the Eurofighter's Systems in 1995?

or Jane's accurately Re-Creating F-18E Systems in 1999?

Given enough Data,

a developer could re-create a system that would look and feel like the real thing, without actually being the real thing :music_whistling:

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2),

ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9)

3x ASUS VS248HP + Oculus HMD, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + MFDs

Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't this the way CTD are making their Superbug? No offense... we can call it "reverse engineering" :music_whistling:

I'm just wondering, this project is completely dead right? Couldn't find a facebook page, or the website of Kinney Interactive. I remember them mentioning after the kickstarter failed, that they would continue to work on the project, just at a slower rate. Now I'm thinking that the project is completely gone.

F35 Status?

Does anyone know of the status of this project. It appears they never got close to the monetary goal.

Ask Jesus for Forgiveness before you takeoff :pilotfly:!
