grafspee
We are doing final testing on the Jug right now, it is a lot of fun. It is a possibility that in final testing some serious bug will be found and force team to start p-47 from scratch. :) System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
msalama
from scratch Untrue. Even if a serious bug arises, there's no need to junk everything and start 100% anew. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. Please confirm if the P-47 has the same FPS issue as all the other prop aircraft? Would be misleading to sell it without disclosing this. ricktoberfest
If they’re smart, they won’t do a pre-order. Then they can charge full price right from the start.

SmirkingGerbil
I think all of us original kickstarter folks, with Luthier at the helm, get the prize for longest wait on product - We should get a badge, or skin! Art-J
All recent ED-produced modules had 20% discount on pre-order, didn't they? ricktoberfest
All recent ED-produced modules had 20% discount on pre-order, didn't they? I doubt the Jug will be an exception. Which is why I think it would be smart to release it without the pre order. They take a 20% hit just to be able to sell it a couple weeks early. Those who want it will buy it full priced. Later on it can go on sale. I’m talking about specifically DCS preordering and strictly from a business standpoint. Of course I want it cheaper and faster - who doesn’t. Art-J
ED seem to have been doing more promos since 2019, plus offering discounts above standard 30% every now and then. Maybe there aren't that many customers willing to pay full after all, especially with aircraft prices being very high already (not all their customer base lives in wealthy West), and with "background content" (maps, assets, campaigns etc.) somewhat lacking. In the end, they have all the numbers and will adjust their pricing policy as needed... i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
