Will be a game changer

Yes, this will be a game changer, 45fps that feels like 60...can't wait.

PC Perspective has 2 good articles and videos

First is an nvidia rep explaining the technology and demoing (as much as possible)

Second is for all nerds that have these legends as heros (Carmack, Sweeney, Andersson)

the problem for nvidia in case of dcs is called oculus rift!

Why is the Rift a problem? You still need a good video card and until something changes, Nvidia is the best choice.

Just what we need, another vendor exclusive feature.

The real breakthrough will come when we get the same technology's coming from different company's.

Currently, or well, in a few months. You will have to chose between;

Nvidea G-sync

AMD's Mantle

Both are very promising technology's, and the time that all GPU manufacturers should be able to provide it was last week. Not somewhere in the future.

I use Lucid Logix's feature "Virtual VSync" and do not feel to have any issues since using it, in regards to tearing or microwarping.

Could it be that this already fixes or eases the same issue that Mantle and G-Sync are trying to solve? Because I experienced "tearing" and "microwarping" before I used LucidLogix but can't remeber experiencing those issues ever since.

No idea, but Mantle is completely different then G-sync.

G-sync is only aimed at synchronizing the frame output whit the frame display.

Mantle is a new way to code game engine's without the need of DirectX meaning there coding on the hardware directly.

Increasing performance for the game that would otherwise be used up by DirectX.

(and that can be significant, anywhere between 5 and 40 percent)
