Please stop using giant font sizes. Believe it or not, we can read regular size type just fine.

these are console lights. The flood light should illuminate the lower half of that image. Believe me I hate it, and I think you would if it was turned on in the first place.

Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Haha I hate the flood light too, tbh, when I fly during the night, I leave the floodlight off, and turn on NVGs when I can't se whether I'm actually turning any knobs or not haha. :pilotfly:

Part of the model and can only be changed in the source file. The green in the current build is more accurate.

I hate the floodlight period. It's the first thing I turn off, if it's on. The panel/instrument/console lights work well enough w/o the floodlight.

If it's that dark and I'm starting from a cold pit, I just use the nvgs until everything's lit up.

There's a floodlight dial on the lighting panel that will allow you to adjust the floodlights from full bright all the way to off, just the way you want it. As far as I know, the Emergency Floodlight switch on the electrical panel is just there to help pilots find their way around a cold and dark cockpit.

The floodlight isn't for in-flight cockpit illumination, just like the same in a car, it's only there to see around in the cabin. Use your other light settings and set them as low as you can to maintain out-of-cockpit contrast.
