=Mac=
The photo you posted shows what it would look like if you were in front of the GAU-8 while it was firing. If you could live through it, that flash is all that you would be able to see. If you are getting that same flash inside the cockpit while you are aiming at a target, then there is something wrong with your sim. Probably would need to do a repair or clean install. Inside the cockpit, you get no flash other than tracers on their way. The Hornet is best at killing things on the ground. Now, if we could just get a GAU-8 in the nose next to the AN/APG-65, a titanium tub around the pilot, and a couple of J-58 engines in the tail... In this case, you have no choice but to go into the light :) Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**

kobac
Isn't that smoke and not a flash of light..... Yes you were right - it seems to be smoke, some kind of graphical error. Today I made a new mission and now there is no such blinding flame, but I noticed smoke disperses similarly. I don't know why this happened, maybe because it was a mission made for 1.2.5, or three hours of playing ... kobac
For me it is something very strange going on. I thought I had the latest version because I installed DCS_World_1.2.7.23097.351-294, and when I started DCS, updater has done some update, but in mision editor I see version is still 1.2.7.23097?! On website I see new version DCS_World_1.2.7.23803.355-305 but updater will nothing to update. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]Everything is possible ...
