Overview

Founded in 2021, 404th Freelancers is an Iranian DCS squadron focused on competitive flying. Our members have been flying for years—some for over 5-6 years—before forming the squad. We’ve competed in SATAL, TACT, SATAC, ACC, and ACES, going up against some of the best teams in the DCS scene. We also hosted ACES 23-2 GRAND SLAM, one of the most dynamic tournaments in DCS, with a wide range of mission types. Beyond competition, we run the most significant cadet program in the Iranian DCS community. Our courses take a milsim approach, closely following real-world aviation lessons. Instead of just preparing cadets for competition, we focus on authentic training, ensuring they learn proper procedures, abide by aviation rules, and stay immersed in the world of flight simulation. More than just a squadron, we're a tight-knit family of aviation enthusiasts and flight sim enjoyers. Our activities extend beyond the virtual skies, with real-life events, gatherings, and meetups as part of our programs, strengthening our bond as a community. Right now, we’re around 20 members strong, and we aim to grow much bigger in the next couple of years. We’re here for high-level competition, serious training, and pushing our limits in DCS.
