Overview:
As tensions rise, BLUEFOR reconnaissance have identified an unusual uptick in activity in Beslan Airbase.
Recent satellite imagery and intercepted ground chatter confirm the presence of 3 An-26B transports and 4 MiG-23ML interceptors, all parked and prepped for deployment. These aircraft are suspected to be part of a rapid logistical push aimed at reinforcing OPFOR forces.
In response to this, a deep strike mission has been authorised on the 21st of June 1983 with the goal of crippling OPFOR capability for rapid deployment in the region by eliminating these assets on the ground, and rendering Beslan Airfield temporarily inoperable. The hope is to send a clear, and controlled signal to OPFOR forces, advising them that we are aware of their movement, and to cease war escalation efforts.
