What We Offer

We have a new F14B squadron! Come join VF-32 the Fighting Swordsmen. We also are recruiting F16 and F18 pilots.

Who we are:

Established in Dec. of 2020, Wing Founder Swampy created a place for like-minded DCS pilots who wanted to gather on weekends to enjoy the art of digital aviation as a community. In 2022, he passed the torch on to several members who collectively have grown the group to include 4 separate, dedicated squadrons, along with 4 auxiliary squadrons. Joint Task Force 111 is a community of members with varied backgrounds, from ex/current military to civilian. From real-life pilot to simple aviation fan, from youngish to new/old moms and dads, each brings with them a positive attitude and unique skillset that rounds out the group.

What We Do:

Weekly Training Nights on Tuesdays from 2000-2200 EST
Weekly Custom Mission Nights every other Saturday from 2000-2300 EST
Fourth-Generation platforms in 4 active squadrons (F14b, F15e, F16c, F/A-18c)
Four Auxiliary squadrons we occasionally fly determined by our custom missions need (AH-64, A10C, AV-8B, Aggressors -red air)

Who We Look For:

Even Tempers, Good/Growth-Attitudes
People who enjoy teamwork/communication
People who want to improve their skills and help others
People who can be active in the group and make at least half the training/mission nights
Mature folks
People who have some experience in their chosen platform. You do not have to be an expert pilot, we would rather have someone who shows up and puts in the effort

Who we are NOT looking for:

Egos
Experts (we do what works for our group. It may not be standard for others or RL)
Impatience (with others or the sim itself)
Grifters

Equipment Requirements:

HOTAS
Some form of head tracking or VR
19yrs or older (Most members are between 25-50)
Consistent attendance to both training and mission nights (at least twice per month)

What We Offer:

Weekly training on chosen airframe/platform
Weekly wing-wide missions where all 4 squadrons work together to accomplish a custom objective
Custom liveries
Custom training scenarios every Tuesday
4 Custom servers. (1 mission server, 2 training servers, one Persistent Mission server)
Great people to fly with

When you join JTF-111:

You will first get a 1 on 1 flight with one of our experienced aviators from your squadron of interest, who will familiarize you with our procedures. Additionally, we offer comprehensive training materials on everything from ATC comms to BVR tactics to get you up to speed. Every Tuesday, our aviators get together to practice their squadron jet, with the goals of maximizing teamwork and mastering our squadron jet.
