Frederf, I did something very similar, I wrote down three pages of just the cold start up procedure in my own hand writing, pausing the demo after each instruction to make sure I got it right. Ya, I missed one or two on the first go around but now I have a full list of the start up pro. I have no trouble following protocol and love instruction, opposite to what Einstein had to say about me. I like your suggestion of flight vs. full system start up but in my mind, if you can't start the KA 50 then you have no business flying the KA 50. I want to play this sim as realistic as possible as I truely feel this is the best sim out there when it comes to heli's. I understand that most heli pilots come from fixed wing as my dad flew heli's for Canada and became an instructor. I know the basics of flight, now I want to know the basics of heli operation and management. This sim is the best I've ever seen in my forty years and I plan to soak up every minute of it!
