I read his comment as "ok for the 21"
-
It very much is.
-
Absolutely stunning. As Corrigan says, day one purchase.
-
There are more then one :)

Just to be "that" guy, the SARH was the monopulse Sky Flash - a tad bit better ECCM compared to the AIM-7 of the time (I think the first monopulse Sparrow was the later AIM-7M, but I've been wrong before). /nitpickingOden

Out of curiosity, what airframe SHOULD they've done then?
-
So am I and mostly regarding Rb 75T (AGM-65A with a heavier blast warhead like the 65-series got later with G-version). AFAIK missiles etc. are part of DCS World and as such in the hands of ED - can LS create one themselves? (for balance I still think missiles should be controlled by ED)

Yes, and when I say 4 I mean 6 :) (senile I am) The 4 launch warning indicators are on the JA pit now that you show the AJ pit. Not sure how AJ indicates launch, probably the 6 (4!) blinking. I made an AJ pit (2D) for FreeFalcon back in the days but that (those) manuals I used are now not to be found, sadly :(
-
RWR is very basic in AJ series and what you get is a 4 direction indicator (yellow lamps) around the horizontal direction indicator surrounding the circular radar display and to that 4 spots (cornering the display) glowing red as launch indicator.

It did manage to lock on to a SR-71, always something :pilotfly: (and sink a Su-15 by manouver)
-
IIRC those are the 3 afterburner stages (the clunk sound is the throttle clipping between each stage).

Thanks Skjold, FYI if you search SimHQ forums you'll also find some swedish J 26 made by Tom Weiss - a little higher quality textures compared to mine IMO.

Obviously not but I'm sure you'll survive the day anyhow. Remember that one question is a question but repeating it is demanding and may not fall well at the recipient side.

Will she be on TS and fly winggirl? (Not flying the MiG-15 Blooze?)
-
Thank you. Short, to the point and fair review in my opinion. You gave me some heads-up. Keep it up.

First thing I missed too Mower, too many hours in BMS I guess. GG, among other things I use it to put me in lead/lag pursuit so I wouldn't say it is useless in a fight.

ED's been working on Nevada the last 88 years. and that's pretty much pure desert so.. Europe? Wouldn't hold my breath.
-
You have. On the other hand, ED stepped in and saved you from a total disaster allowing you to get at least something out of the situation created by Luthier. Two options, contact kickstarter admins or stay here with a smile for what ED's done for you at their own cost (think twice, $40 for six planes at one P-51D $40-level?).

Multiplayer few years ago and now - from FC 1.12b to DCS
theOden replied to Falcon_S's topic in Multiplayer
Unlike DCS I take it, right? -
Looking forward to see you on the server Boris. Feel free to join Rag Tag Asylum.. eh, forum I meant for more info.

Same issue for me (Sweden) stuck on "Connecting to master" using DCS 1.2.8 but running Open Beta 1.2.8 there are no issues at all (I even played a privately hosted standard 1.2.8 yesterday using the Open Beta shortcut - to my surprise)

Since you're in my timezone we could go MP in a small 2-man coop where we can crash and burn all we like and when you feel ready we can go Blooooze both of us (I've flown with his character-strong voice before and I recommend his server warm-heartedly (is that even an english word?) and now that I'm fed-up with ArmA2 I think it's time to go airborne again and e-Die in a completely different way.. yes isuc that bad). Maybe it's easier for you with a familiar reference when going bigger coop. slap me at asa_oden a t hotmail dot com is you want to start off small step-by-step style. /handsomeSwede

Not going to attack defenseless targets anymore.
theOden replied to Maximus_Lazarus's topic in Multiplayer
A tad bit boring responses here but I generally thank you Lazarus as I cannot see the what joy it brings for one or two F-15C pilots roaring above 4 Su25 pilots securing "air superiority" on a otherwise empty server. Ok if they dodge a few SA-10 sites while at it, never seen that though. -
As a horrible foreigner I'd say language is the bigger barrier. Given the complexity of simgames such as DCS A10C and Falcon4 etc there is always the scary thought of failing a load of complicated procedures when new to a team and add to that that you have to communicate in a language you don't master - not the most optimal situation for a new guy. With that in mind I can still deeply and warmly recommend trying MP on Blooze's server as a more patient and knowledgeable e-pilot is hard to find. Been-there-done-that (but I'm too split for other sims such as Dover and ArmA to get the continuation going) so if you're curious/nervous - go for it.
