  1. Thank you very much for the answer. It is nice to hear that the posts in this part of the forum are being read and some issues are already known and being worked on. This is not a DCS bug. [...] The instructor states that the taxi speed is indicated in the top left corner of the HUD, which it clearly isn't (see picture). I will reword my description in my initial post to better reflect this. I tried it again and it works now, maybe I mixed up LSHIFT and LCTRL as the behaviour is similar and can be mistaken. I will remove this issue from my initial post. :poster_oops: I'm not sure if we watched the same video. I took a screenshot from linked in the thread on steam and highlighted some things (it is hard to see though): Note that the runway is in sight but the HSI glideslope bar and localizer line do not behave as described by the instructor. [...] In a more serious note, you have to know that night lighting is being worked on since a few updates). Good to hear that this issue is being worked on. I would like to criticise less that it is "unrealistic" (as I never experienced how it really looks in reality when a Su-25T touchs down during a thunderstorm at night ) and criticise more the sudden change as soon the the wheels touch the ground which is more clearly unrealistic. I might make a video of it in the future to better back this issue up ... For some reason, the "D" key wasn't mapped property. I will take this issue off the list.
  2. I experienced several bugs while playing the training lessons: Aircraft Start-Up, Taxi and Takeoff - the instructor states that the taxi speed is indicated in the top left corner of the HUD, which it isn't - my aircraft exploded once while still on the starting position Landing (Difficult) - Cockpit lightning is already on when instructed to turn it on - HSI solid lines are not working (they remain in idle position all the time as described here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/223750/discussions/2/1744480966997167054/) - The tutorial does not mention that you have to call ATC to illuminate the runway and lets you land on a dark runway at night during a thunderstorm (WTF?) - However, if the runway light is on, the rain gets lit up way to much the last 5-10 seconds before touching down creating a massive and possibly unrealistic distraction. As soon as you touched down, these effects disappear completely. I used freshly installed version from Steam, no mods installed and no key bindings changed.
