No I could do right now I sopose but I doubt there will be any change when I re installed I loaded the mission in the missions folder called night mission. On 1.0 NVG worked perfect I loaded 1.0.2 same mission no NVG seems pretty conclusive to me but I'll try another mission now before I uninstall again

Ok uninstaled game mo deactivation dowloaded original game installed it tested NVG worked fine downloaded patch 1.0.2 installed it tested NVG did not work this has waisted 3 evenings that I could have spent playing BS I am going to revert to original game I want to install patch 1.0.1 but I'm worried nvg will not work there also. Wasted a lot of time already

Ahhh I patched 1.0.2 over 1.0.1 hmmm do you think that might be the problem ? If so how do I go back to 1.0?

No. I think when I patched to the latest patch it re-set everything to default. Since then the only thing I changed, is turned on heat blurr in the graphics settings. Not altered any scripts.

do u mean have I changed any settings that might have caused a problem or... Do you mean have I tried sorting it out by tweeking the settings???

Hmmm ok not sure how that helps, but you say it as if you know something so I'll give it a go. Even if it works how does that help in the campagns. I don't think I can edit the campagn missions can I ? Actually I finished that mision flying dark no nvg. But the next mission is night also. And requers low level flying. Can't do that blind :( thanks for the suggestion I'll try after work

I have tried most of that. The HMS works fine. I did flick on the ground power once I think. But I might try that again because I did not request ground power. Although I'm sure I read that at the start of any mission if ground power is available it's connected. But I have tried using the NVG in flight. So the generators should be providing enough power. As for the door. I tried with door open power off requesting nvg and Roters running using intercom to req NVG with door open. So it's not that. Actually I am begining to think the new patch is making a problem with my graphics card. But only in NVG which is odd. But I'm hoping someone can tell me it's something really stupid and easy to fix. Thanks for the input though

Hi every one I have had BS since it first was released. But i havnt flown it much. However i have just come back to it. i have put in some hours getting up to speed with everything but i have a problem. i started the deployment campagn and im stuck at the night mission where you bug out of a FARP that is under attack. im stuck because my NVG dont work here is what happens i ask ground crew to change helmet to nvg they copy and inform me nvg is fitted. i do a full auto start to make sure i have not missed a switch any where i even make sure throttles are up to full auto rpm when i press the H key i can see the helmet switch down on the lower left moving as it should. but no night vision so goggles are fitted we have power switch is moving what am i doing wrong???
