It'll have to be done at some point. If future pcs are going to be based on multiples of individually slower cores, then LOMAC and subsequent products could end up running slower on the new pcs.

Hi guys As LOMAC is very CPU dependant, and given that single cpus arent going to get a lot faster than there are now - everyone is moving to multi-core setups - will LOMAC be recoded to run in a multi-threaded fashion? I think this would be an essential move to guarantee the longevity of LOMAC, and the underlying engine in future projects. It'll also help those guys (like me) who want to throw money at their pcs to get LOMAC running faster, but have nothing to buy. When i first heard of the FC expansion, I have to admit i was sceptical, but now looking at whats been done with the new plane, I am seriously impressed...getting all tingly waiting for it now. Good job.
