  1. got a response in a different sub forum in case it helps someone https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/digital-combat-simulator/dcs-supercarrier/7123645-hornet-owner-discount
  2. Thanks for the response Foka, it looks like I would get the discount then :-). I agree its not well advertised as I have done numerous searches on the site but to no avail.
  3. Hi - I dont currently have the Hornet but was considering buying it on the ED site. Does anyone know if Id still get the Super Carrier discount then or has that promotion expired?

  5. Hi - sorry just been on hols in an airbus 319, did think about asking the pilot about trim etc.. but thought you guys seem much more helpful.. if I get the hang of this I would like to fly online as you seem like a good bunch. Anyway, Nate... yes I tried setting as slider and every other option but didnt help. The stick seems to be centered ok in the saitek software and FSX like I said but the centering did take a few days to settle, maybe its just the new force sensing technology thats the problem. There did seem to be an issue with the throttle which the devs may have fixed so could just be FC2 causing the issues. Anyway, I also noticed others mentioning that cross axis config may be an issue - I have the rudder pedals also installed. I have a few days off now so I will try a reinstall of FC2 and remove the pedals etc to see if there were some initial install issues with software/hardware... I'll let you all know if I find anything... but thanks to your replies at least I know that the stick should be centered by default....
  6. Thanks for the responses. Yes in the options screen the pitch axis is not centered. It needs a deadzone of about 45 to stop pitch being applied hands off stick. I have tested this on the F-15 at speed and it does dive without the deadzone. I will try applying trim but just wondered whether the pitch axis showed as centered in the options screen (axis tune) for you guys?
  7. I haven't applied any trim as far as I am aware (sorry Im quite new to this). I just expected the axis tune screen to allow me to move the centre of the pitch axis so I don't have to use such a big deadzone to make it fly without default pitch being applied on that axis. With the deadzone applied I just need a small push forward to pitch down but have to travel the full deadzone when pulling back before pitching up. Is it normal for the pitch in 'lock on' to be so far forward?
  8. Hi. I am having an issue trying to centre the y axis on the x65 for pitch. It is centered in the saitek software and on other sims such as fsx and wings of prey. In lock on FC2 the x axis is not too bad (deadzone of about 15 covers it ok) but the y-axis is way off and need a deadzone of 45-50 to cover it and stop the plane diving. I can't see any way of adjusting the center in the menus, has anyone got any ideas?
