I flew R/c Helicopters for about 5 years. We always said that helos beat the air into submission thats why they fly. The neatest thing I have ever seen an R/C heli do was in an exteme manuever the blades cut the carbon fibre tail clean off. The pilot immediately shut the engine down and was able to auto it in without a tail. I would have never believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. he was probably 150 feet up when the tail was sheered.

I had and AHHHHH moment. I was shutting her down with the "Left win home" instead of the "left win end".

I unload all of my birds and I want to look for some more targets...So I go back to the base,land, shut the helo down, and ask for a reload. Once all the ordinance is in place I left win home the quick start up and the EKRAN (with the sexy foreign voice) gives me a transmission warning. I even try to manual start it but nothing. I can't get it to turn over.
