  1. Blarney, ratfink Both of your situations sound like something i have encountered in multiple games. My issue was with the Saitek X-52. I see ratfink has this guy. I assume your using a profile with your X-52, try wiping the trigger bits of the profile. assign the trigger in-game. This has fixed all my games.
  2. I finally had to cut labels on, and then I completed the objective. Turned onto my home base vector and got nailed by a strela. One engine down and no electronics. Limped my way back home. Jettisoned extra stores. 6km out on glide scope, looked to my 9:00 just in time to see a SA-11 1.2 km away. :helpsmilie: Ejected, lived, and the campaign when to another mission. 6a. Does the campaign have alternate mission tree? Like a pilot fails mission 6a so the campaign switches to the 6b limb of the tree? BTW i racked up 16 deaths and over 30 ejections on that one mission.
  3. This mission is kicking my behind. I have gone from 95% mission success, and obtained 6 campaign deaths. The mission is in the stock campaign, and it is the mission where you attack 6 supply, ordenance vehicles. Can anyone give me pointers? Ive tried all kinds of tactics. altitudes, stand off distances, ecm, auto flare/chaff on approach and departures:joystick:. I am just stuck. If i have for the most part avoided the snow drifts and there sa-11s . And yes i am a noob:D
  4. After about 4 hours i finally figured it out. It takes a combination of custom snap views, and a macro for the x52 clutch button. Now i have access to mfds, hud, rwr, and other important interfaces while keeping my padlock. If anyone wants to try this method out let me know.
  5. Kind of. I can reset the view just fine. What I want to do is: Padlock a target, when my camera gets so off center (ie. target at 6'oclock) i want to be able to glance forward by pressing a button(in order to regain situational awarness ie. airspeed, my aircraft orientation), release button that glances forward and return to my padlock. So "Padlock, glance forward, return to padlock"
  6. So I have recent come across an old LOMAC disk that i gave up on long ago due to PC requirements. Anyways I got a hold of FC2(early birthday present:)) and have been trying it out. Newbie mistake #1: i cut invulnerable off in my pilots menu to see what it did. Probably needless to say, but I slammed into the ground in a later mission and lost all the medals/rank I had been awarded :D. Anyways I do not have trackir or the funds to purchase it. A trick i used in Falcon was to use a combination of padlock target, canopy lines, and glance forward/side. Is there anyway to use at least the Padlock feature and a glance forward (possibly cockpit lines too)? I can manipulate Cockpit Panel View Toggle (num0 + rctrl) to the hud by pressing (num5) which i can map to my x52. The only problem is its a zoomed view and i want an unzoomed, straight out the windscreen, forward view Thanks in advance
