i5 9600k and Multi-threading

I have a i5 9600k with 64GB ram and a 3070gpu playing on steam with oculus rift S. my system works Im getting 40fps for now and I am getting the (CPU bound main thread) in RED so Im assuming this is bottlenecked but Im thinking i will have to upgrade in the near future.
