I have been having trouble with the vertical scan mode on the hornet. Pretty new to the hornet and just DCS in general. When I am on Growling Sidewinder's open conflict server and when I get probably sub 10 miles I'll switch to vertical scan to try and lock them up. Problem is, when I do that it seems to lock up a random aircraft that is farther than 10 miles. One time it locked up a target that was 45 miles away. Is there a way to just unlock a target. I have been using my sensor depress bind but it seems to just basically shuffle between enemy or sometimes even friendly aircraft.
