Bug may occur on virtual machines in general. I'm running Win10 under qemu-kvm, with an nvidia GPU provided to the guest using PCI passthrough. My log is almost identical to @ChuckyChuck's here:
2.5.6.58125 works fine. 2.5.6.59398 hangs on splash screen, does not resolve when left alone. I'll try to obtain a log and system info when I have some time. Might take a bit because I've since reverted to the previous open beta version and going forward to repro will take like four hours on my internet, then another four hours to revert again.
