Hi folks if you are interested in flying acrobatics in close formation like the real Blue Angels do and you are willing (and able) to spend some time regularly for practicing those maneuvers with us, please contact / respond here You don't have to be an expert already but it is necessary that you like formation flying at all and that you are willing to work on staying in your position (Diamond pilots) or fly your exact profile (Solo pilots) Short summary of our current "condition": We are 4 members presently but still want to have backup pilots for the "Diamond" (because after all, your private life is #1 priority so there will be dates where we have to "replace" one or even more of the current members!!) We are also looking for 2 solo pilots to complete the virtual BA formation style group!! Our experience goes way back to 2019 but we had to cancel the project in 2021 and now, with only 3 or sometimes 4 pilots just recently started to practice again.... We start from scratch, so to say therefore it seems the right time to join us! But here is the catch: 2 of our present members are located in the GMT+1 timezone (Germany) and our dedicated practice times will be weekdays earliest at 19:00 ZULU time - meaning around 2pm (East coast) or 11am (West coast) (I myself am at MST - same is true for the 4th guy!) Weekends we would start even 1 hour earlier... Presently planned training times are Wednesday at 19:00 Z (MST = noon) and occasionally Sunday at 18:00 Z Our training should be at least once a week for approximately 2 hours (including debriefing!) Hallo Kunstflug Interessierte ... Wir sind 3 Leute die nach langer Pause wieder Lust auf Kunstflug in der FA-18C im DCS haben Wir suchen Gleichgesinnte die Zeit für (wenn möglich!) regelmäßiges Training haben (und sich auch nehmen!) Angedacht ist mindestens 1 Mal pro Woche - zur Zeit favorisiert ist der Mittwoch 20 Uhr und/oder der Sonntag(Zeit muss noch abgesprochen werden) Wir haben bereits Erfahrung mit den Flug Manövern der realen Blue Angels, sind allerdings durch die lange Pause sozusagen "wieder am Anfang" und glauben deshalb auch, dass für einen Neueinstieg von Euch in diese Materie jetzt der geeignete Zeitpunkt ist - einzige Voraussetzung sollte (natürlich) sein, dass ihr Euch halbwegs "wohl fühlt" beim Formationsflug.... Die Positionen 1 (Boss=Lead), 2 (rechte Seite) und 4 (Slot) sind derzeit von uns belegt..... Wichtig für uns zu finden ist eine Nummer 3 (linke Seite=Innenkurven) und 2 Solo Flieger Bei Interesse bitte hier Antwort posten, wir melden uns dann mit einem temporären Discord Kanal Zugang zum Kennelernen!
