To make it short, I bought a X56 Hotas (despite all the hate around it) because I wanted to try it out. All said and done, it arrived, installed the software and looked at the axis. When I move the y axis into the negative aka pulling the stick back, the software / the value reaches its maximum value /before/ the stick is all the way back. I would say it reaches the value when the stick is about 1-2cm away from being fully pulled back. This causes some issues when flying, especially when pulling up/climbing, that the plane climbs much faster than I want it to. The rest of the axis work fine, pushing the stick forward works flawlessly, x axis also works fine.
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this or re-calibrate the y axis? Using the software to "recalibrate" it does nothing since it just loads the same calibration profile and changes nothing.
