Brand new with DCS while awaiting receipt of my new system dedicated to simulation, I am training to use DCS on my desktop PC. After starting to play at 1280 x 1024 resolution 1 screen I configured DCS in the options to 3 screens 1920 x 1200 (or something like that) but the display goes out of the screen! So I went back to DCS after killing it with the task manager, I went back to DCS / Options to go back to 1280 x 1024 BUT I can no longer exit conf options because the box to exit and save the new configuration options and storing them is not visible on the screen, it is outside! And the ESC key doesn't get me out. So probably I might have to go to a configuration file and modify it by hand? I have tried in DCS / Config but it is not accepted. After reading the graphics_readme.txt file described in DCS / CONFIG I searched into my entire disc drive for some autoexec.cfg file but no such file. So what should I do please? I'm really stucked because I can't get back to a correct screen configuration. Thank you for your help.

Bonjour, Tout nouveau avec DCS dans l'attente de réception de mon nouveau système dédié à la simulation je m'entraine à l'utilisation de DCS sur mon PC de bureau. Après avoir commencé à jouer en résolution 1280 x 1024 1 écran j'ai configuré DCS dans les options en 3 écrans 1920 x 1200 (ou quelque chose du genre) mais l'affichage sort de l'écran! Alors je suis retourné dans DCS après l'avoir tué avec le gestionnaire de tâche, je suis retourné dans DCS / Options pour revenir à 1280 x 1024 MAIS je ne peux plus sortir des options de conf car la case pour sortir des options de configuration et les stocker n'est pas visible à l'écran, elle est en dehors ! Et la touche ESC ne me fait pas sortir. Alors il faudrait peut être aller dans un fichier de configuration et le modifier à la main. J'ai essayé dans DCS/Config mais ce n'est pas accepté. Après lecture du fichier graphics_readme.txt décrit dans DCS/CONFIG j'ai fait une recherche sur tout mon disque d'un quelconque fichier autoexec.cfg mais aucun fichier de ce type. Alors comment faire SVP, je suis vraiment bloqué car je n'arrive pas à revenir à une configuration d'écran correcte. Merci de votre aide.

Comme je n'avais pas encore de réponse en Français j'ai posé la question sur le groupe anglais et j'ai eu plusieurs réponses qui m'ont confirmé que ça fonctionnait dans la mesure ou je me connectais sur chaque machine avec le même compte mais que je ne cherchais pas à faire fonctionner les deux en même temps. Je ne cherche pas à faire marcher les deux en même temps bien entendu. @+ et merci pour la réponse pf

Dear Friends, Thank you very much for the prompt response from all of you. For sure only one DCS at a time will be in operation, the sim room is into the basement of the house and the office upstairs, very difficult to be at each location at the same time. Have a nice week-end. Pierre-François

Hello Friend Simmers, I'm new to DCS, waiting my dynamic sim be ready, in the mean time I'm learning DCS on my office email i7 PC . I would like to purchase few modules but I'm wondering if I'll be able to re-install later these modules on my sim PC. In other word is it possible to install a module on two PCs at home? No commercial use, one PC into the simulation room and the PC at the home office. Thanks in advance for your response. pf

Bonjour, Avant de poser ma question je vais me re-présenter en Français puisque déjà fait sur le forum Anglais: Nouveau sur DCS je suis en phase finale de réalisation d'un simulateur dynamique à 5 vérins soit 4DOF (Degree Of Freedom) (Degrés de Liberté) et reconfigurable Simracing/Avion/Hélico. Le but étant de faire de la voiture sportive, du fighter et de l'hélico, la reconfiguration du simulateur se faisant par remplacement très facilement et rapidement des commandes appropriées au type d'engin souhaité. Par ailleurs je suis PPL/H et j'ai eu un R22 pendant une douzaine d'années donc l'hélico je l'ai dans la peau et comme c'est comme le vélo ça ne se perd jamais me disait mon instructeur alors on va s'y remettre... D'ailleurs j'avais vérifié le dicton, après plusieurs années d'arrêt j'avais repris une AlouetteII puis un R22 en stationnaire sans aucune difficulté. Dans l'attente je fais joujou avec DCS sur mon PC de bureau un i7 2.8GHz 32GB un peu limité en graphique (c'est un euphémisme...) mais bon pour le moment je m'en contente. Ma question: Je voudrai acheter quelques modules mais une seule fois ... Si je fais tourner ces modules sur mon PC de bureau est ce que je pourrai aussi et surtout aussi les utiliser sur le PC du simulateur? Donc un module acheté pour deux machines est ce possible? Hello Friends, I'm a newbie into your community, waiting for the arrival of my T5 Pro 4DOF simulator which is going to be reconfigurable into a Simracing, Aircraft and Helicopter simulator. Aircraft and Helicopter is going to be used primarily under DCS using Thrusmaster Hotas Warthog for aircraft sim and Komodo Simulations grips for helicopter simulation. I used to work during many many years for the simulation business into the real time computing and have been during my career every years to the I/ITSEC in the US where the two US firms I used to work for were exhibiting. The Sim business run in my veins ... Also I'm a private helicopter pilot and had a Robinson R22 during 12 years, so I dream to have soon an heli sim grip in hands . So I'll have certainly many questions concerning the installation and configuration of DCS on the dynamic simulator I'm waiting for. For the moment I try to understand a bit DCS on my desktop computer running w7, the simulator will be installed under w10. So see you soon, not on the Moon but on this forum. Cheers Pierre-François -
