A10 will be an outstanding product; I also think that releasing an open Beta at cost is the way ahead for future products.
However, in my opinion, for this method of eCommerce to be truly successful, it is essential that reasonable band-width is available. This is particularly true of Open Betas as numerous large updates will need to be downloaded.
As I type this, Beta 2 is downloading at 24.2KB/sec and estimating 22 hours!! Please ED, get better band-width and sort out the torrent.
I am really looking forward to Beta 2 and as long-time support of Flanker, etc, I really do want this product to hugely successful with lots of addons, new aircraft, etc,
