Hallo,
ich habe eine Frage zur South Atlantic Map und zur F15/F14:
- Funktioniert die Map gut? Ich habe bei Release von Problemen mit der Karte gelesen und würde nun gerne wissen ob sie nun brauchbar ist. Lohnt sich der Kauf Eurer Meinung nach?
- Wie gut kann man die F15 als Single Player fliegen? Da gibt es ja diesen KI Copiloten, funktioniert das gut mit dem, kann man auch komplett Solo in der F15 fliegen?
- Gilt das gleiche auch für die F14?

what is quad views and how can i use it?
Is this for DCS with Ocolus or SteamVR ?
I have lost track of what options there are for DCS all.
DCS with Ocolus, DCS with SteamVR with --forceOpenXR, DCS MT with Registry Hack... -
Was spricht dagegen den Account zu veräußern und dann die Anmelde Daten weiter zu geben.
Der neue Besitzer ändert dann die Zugangsdaten.
Das der Name im Account nicht geändert werden kann sollte klar sein.
Die E-Mail Adresse sollte man aber ändern können.

Ich warte noch auf ein attraktives Angebot...
Ein Video ist nicht gerade aussagekräftig, leider gibt es keine weiteren videos die sich mit der Leistung der 7900xtx, dcs und pico 4 beschäftigen.

ich habe die Pico 4 und bin sehr zufrieden außer das meine RX5700xt zu schwach ist.
Nun stehe ich auch vor der Entscheidung welche Grafikkarte es werden soll.
Nur bei mir steht die 7900xtx oder die RTX 4080 im Focus da beide preislich relativ nahe beieinander liegen.
Die 4090 spielt in einer anderen Liga, vor allem preislich.
Aber wenn Geld keine Rolle spielt dann die 4090!
Für mich ist sie leider zu teuer und die gebotene Leistung würde ich nur selten nutzen da ich nicht so oft in VR unterwegs bin und sonst nur in WQHD mit 70Hz spiele.
Ich würde ja gerne die AMD Karte nehmen aber leider gibt es nur wenige bis fast gar keine Infos bezüglich der Pico 4 mit der 7900xtx.

i have a new Pico 4 and i want to replace my 5700xt for better resolution quality in DCS VR.
So can anyone tell me the possibilities with a rtx3090 and a pico4?
What resolution can be driven with what fps?
Or must i spend 500€ more for a 7900xtx or 4080 ?

I see you have not a 7900xt/x. The 7900xt/x shall have problems with vr but i read somewhere that the problems only occour with DP Cable HMDs.
So i'm not sure if i should try a 7900xt/x with my pico 4....

Now the issues are something else, Microsoft automatic update conjob messed up my system entirely, I had to do fresh installs because of a Critical System Failure, couldn't repair, couldn't reset, once a fresh install achieved I was able to install all drivers Automatic Update replaced by Microsoft ones (all AMD drivers including GPU, chipsets and Realteck Audio)
I was warned by AMD (see my signature) through AMD Software Adrenalin that automatic update might replace their driver...
That's for amount of mickey taking damages Microsoft aggressive update policy is forcing on users, automatic update is now disabled and I check on this regularly.
The other issue is Steam and Steam VR playing havoc with DCS, it looks like the last Steam VR Beta update is taking over DCS start command and if I try to close it, it shuts down DCS completely. If I can find a viable alternative to play DCS without using Steam, I will, on top of this, their refresh rate is 20Hz below what my Pico4 can take.

Now after some weeks, can you tell me more about the performance of the 5800x3d/7900xtx combo with DCS in VR?
I think about to buy a 7900xtx but i'm not sure about the vr performance issue of the 7900 series.

If i use the Ocolus runtime with my Pico, can i also use Ocolus Tray Tool?
What if i want to use OpenXR Toolkit, how do i this with the Pico?
I installed the OpenXR Toolkit but i don't know how to use it. Where can i make settings?

You must enable the 90 FPS Mode in the settings -> LAB Menu from the Pico4.
At my Pico 4 it was disabled out of the box.

I think, for the money you get a lot with the pico 4.
I wanted a HMD for Christmas for ny son and me.
I paid around 370€, get 3 games, a good fovand resolution in my opinion.
The next device i find interesting is the pimax crystal, but this cost too much.

Hallo,
Ich habe den Foxtracker mit einer PS3 Camera und Opentrack.
Das funktioniert sehr gut finde ch und man hat nichts störendes auf den Kopf.

DCS throws a message that it crashes.
In the HMD i see something like a loading screen but the error message is only visible on the Monitor.
If i move my head the "loading" screen remains at its position. But it is not frozen.
It is the first mission after start of DCS bzt it is a start single mission for the a10II.
Use DCS Standalone SteamVR?

Hello,
i have a new Pico 4 and got the problem that my Standalone DCS crashes if i start a mission.
I see the loading screen and when it finished with loading it crashes.
I installed Virtual Desktop and SteamVR.
I start DCS from Virtual Desktop.
Can anyone tell me what i make wrong?

PS. I tested VR with a Quest2 (Oculus Software) and DCS runs without problems.
