Hello, I start in DCS and I’m looking for a nice plane to start. I hesitate to take the Mirage 2000C (I love this plane) or flaming clif 3 but I’m open to other proposals. Here is my specifications: - A plane compliant with my hardware (I have an old GTX 1050Ti 4GO) and I do some tests in VR (Oculus Quest 2) - Not too complicated airplane/weapon system because I ll just play 2 or 3 hours by week - A module that contains tutorials/training - Module with campaign and missions - Currently I don’t plan online - A versatile aircraft because I don’t know yet if I prefer air/air or air/ground - A module not too expensive 40 euros (there are promos at the moment) - For the moment I am staying in 2.5 because I am afraid that 2.7 will kill my poor graphics card Thank you

Hello VFGiPJP, I tried 3 solutions to play in VR : Oculus link, Steam VR + Virtual Desktop and virtual desktop with the launcher (right clic on VR, select launch game and run DCS.EXE). The best for me it's Oculus link with the tips fo AlpineGTA. About VR Mods : VR shader and 3Dmigoto what does it change ? Are there very efficient ? If yes do you have a good tuto for Noob ?

Tank you Alpine GTA, I tried 72Hz and 3712x1872 with PD at 1.0 in DCS and MSAAx2 and it’s better !!! Roads, buildings and cockpit are still sparkling/glinting and some time trees are jerky when I move my head quickly or when I look left or right at low altitude but it playable! Hello, Thank you for your help. I 'll try this. But yesterday I uninstall DCS standalone and I install the Steam version. I used Oculus rift and Steam VR and The key “VR recenter” worked. I m now in the good place in the cockpit. But it’s now impossible to use the Oculus joystick to click on the menu…I use the mouse and some time I have the message “windows out of Focus”. I read some topic about this issue. I’ll try with Steam version and Virtal Desktop because in Oculus software on my PC I have message about my graphic card is not supported (GXT1050TI) and my USB wire is not very good. And after I ‘ll reinstall standalone version and try your tips. I have now to find the best graphic setting to have the best FPS/quality.

I try to disable the stationary mode but it's worse because I'm higher... No the room is not in the darkness. If I install DCS steam version and I launch DCS with game menu in VirtualDesktop it ll work ?

Hello, I’m new on DCS and I have tried VR with an Oculus Quest 2 connected in wifi with Virtual Desktop. My DCS version is standalone (not STEAM). I selected “Enable Virtuel Reality Headset” in VR option on DCS. I use the Oculus in stationary mode. I fly with SU-25. It’s amazing! But I’m always too high in the cockpit and when I start the game in an aircraft hangar and the DCS screen is very low. I spend many hours on internet to find a solution but nothing change: - I went in UI layer to assign a key for Zoom VR and VR recenter but nothing happened when I press this key. - I tried to change the view with Keypad number 5 but nothing happened, I tried also with RCtrl+5; RShift+5, RCtrl+Rshift+5 - /and * does work - Rshift +/ or * does work - RCtrl+/ or * does work I tried cheat with the guardian and select my desk as the floor level but it is not enough. Have you any Idea to find a solution? Could you send my screenshot of your VR menu and UI layer menu ? Are there some special setting in Virtual Desktop ? Moreover, my computer it’s a old one with a GTX1050TI 4GB and 16GO RAM but I manage to have 20- fps. I read many topics about graphis configuration but what is the more important parameter to increase FPS ? Does Oculus Tray tool works with virtual desktop ? Thanks for your help
