Was this single player or Multi? I've been playing mostly multi player and the 50 cal seems to work ok to me. More powerful than they ever were in IL2 IMO. If you land a good burst on the fuselage or wing root it seems to tear up the Dora pretty good. Having said that the few times I have played it in single player mode it seems to take more hits. Is that possible that there is a difference? I don't know!

I'm not familiar with that stick but for the ww2 planes as well as the helicopters is where you will miss rudder pedals. I would still go ahead and play it if I were you. If nothing else you can learn the systems until you save up some more cash. Have fun.

I think it's called "Corrector" or something like that. I assigned the friction Incr - Decr function on the warthog to this and it works like the twist grip throttle. Hope that helps

No I'm not sure. I used the Runtime Web installer that was posted earlier in this thread. When I run it again it says I'm up to date. Is there another way to update the DX9 stuff lay it on me.

Same problem as Lawyer237 and Para Bellum. Other sounds work fine. I have used the web update for DX
