I would 100% pay $15 a month for a subscription if it meant I had access to EVERYTHING and never had to buy another module, map, or campaign again! And especially if the guaranteed monthly revenue for ED and the third party devs meant a better product in the end! Just my two cents...which isn't worth spit.

Why so rude and douchy to a guy who's just trying to come up with ideas and solutions??

resolved DCS Authorization Failed - 400?
Roughneck replied to HC_Official's topic in Payment and Activation
I just had the same issue. Game booted fine went into OVGME to disable mods so i could play in pure client MP. Closed DCS. Restarted DCS and got Error 400 with all of my modules disabled. Closed DCS and did a slow repair. Restarted DCS...same error. -

I have a HP Reverb G2 with a v2 cable. About a month ago the screens started going black after I had been flying for a while. Usually around the hour to an hour and a half mark. It hadn't done it to me for a few weeks and I had hoped that it had resolved itself. Yesterday I was in our group's server and after I had flown for over an hour, I started spectating the other guys. I switched to the LSO platform and boom...the screens went black. The game was still running, the game was still being mirrored on my monitor. Closed out DCS and WMR then immediately restarted them, and the headset worked fine. Flew for another half hour or so without issues. The cable connection is solid so that's not the problem. The usbC is plugged into my motherboard...some guys have suggested that could be a problem and to try plugging into another port on the case. Also, there is a debate out there that high volume settings could be causing this. I did notice that my volume was at 90% when this happened yesterday. So, there's that. It does seem like this issue is happening to a lot of other guys. The G2 reddit and Thud's discord has lots of guys complaining about the same issue. Just curious of anyone here has/had the same issue, and if so, is it fixable? Thanks in advance fellas! (I'm running an AMD 5900X overclocked, EVGA RTX 3080 FTW, 64gb DDR4 3600 ram, and a ROG Dark Hero MB.)

MFG Crosswind Wheel Brake Issue
Roughneck replied to Roughneck's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
So I went back into the MFG Configurator and reset everything to default. Now its working properly. No idea what I did or what happened to screw up that left brake...because all I did when I first connected them months ago was calibrate them. So thanks for the help fellas...appreciate it! -

MFG Crosswind Wheel Brake Issue
Roughneck replied to Roughneck's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
I haven't...but in the MFG Config software its showing being activated with my foot resting on it -
Hey Everyone, So I'm having an issue with my left wheel brake. With just my foot resting on the pedal its activating the wheel brake. Like its too sensitive or something. Its mapped identically to my right wheel brake which works perfectly. I've tried adding deadspace. Clearing it and rebinding it. Nothing works. I had to map both brakes to my right pedal just to stop from veering off the runway. The left rudder itself works fine...just the brake. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help you guys can give!

New Guy with some hardware questions
Roughneck replied to greyeagle787's topic in New User Briefing Room
Hey Greyeagle, I just built a new pc. I went with 2 1TB SSD's. Windows on c drive...games on D. I also went with 64gb RAM...just to try to future proof it a bit. -
Hi David! Nice to see another old tanker on here! Trained on M1 IP's at Knox in 1990...then went to the Opfor at Hohenfels where I went back in time on M60A3's! My tank at Hohenfels was actually built the year I was born...1971! LOL As for WinWing...I have no idea about the shipping cost. I keep checking their site. It said restock on 4/22...but I must have missed it because I didn't see any available. Besides shipping I'm worried about this VAT tax that could be added by customs? Never dealt with that before...so that could be an additional cost. I'm really wondering if it's worth the wait vs just breaking down and going TM Warthog and duel throttle. Most people don't recommend TM...but they're the only thing available right now. I also bought the F-18...plus the super carrier. I thought it through and think the F-18 plus the carrier covers the most of what I want to do. Air to Air, Air to Ground, and carrier ops. Good luck in your search...seems like we're in the same boat!

Hey DF, I'm mostly looking to fly western aircraft. Definitely the F-18 and F-14! I did a lot of research last night and I think I've decided on the WinWing Super Libra and Taurus with the Take Off panel and Combat Ready panel. Also looks like I'm gonna go with the MFG Crosswind pedals. I like the idea of the WinWing setup because they all seem to work well together. Now I just have to wait until its all in stock...same issue I had when I started buying parts for this pc! LOL. Thanks for all the input guys!

Hello everyone! So I'm a fairly experienced old school flight simmer...going all the way back to F15 Strike Eagle on a Commodore 64! LOL. I've been following DCS stuff since the pandemic started and I finally built a PC good enough to run it. Family PC just wouldn't cut it. I just built a Ryzen 5900X, Asus ROG Dark Hero MB, EVGA 3080 FTW, 64mb DDR4 3600hz PC, Asus 43' 4K monitor 144hz. Probably looking at the Reverb G2 for vr once I've got a feel for the game. What I'm in need of next is a HOTAS and rudder pedals. Think I've got it narrowed down to Thrustmaster Warthog or WinWing. WinWing looks interesting because it includes stick, throttle, and desk extensions for $900. Just wondering if I'm on the right track here? And also looking for recommendations for pedals. I've always flown with a twist joystick for rudder use...so I have no idea where to start there. Anyways...just wanted to say hello and thanks for any input!
