Hello there,
this appears to be just another everyday issue that is most likely solved with a simple solution. However, I think this time it's something more than that. I'm currently experiencing a problem that I've never seen before.
Even though all clients and me run on the same Open Beta Version, both according to the in-game version name and the log file, even though the port 10308 is correctly forwarded with TCP and UDP, including backup forwarding and even though we tripple checked that the clients are using the correct IP with the port at the end, they are still not able to connect to my server.
I'm a Computer Science Student at the University of Hamburg, so I have already tried many unusual methods to try and fix the problem. Those include but are not limited to:
-Restarting the Game/PC
-Trying it from a different machine (No Success, clients still cannot connect = Router issue)
-Restarting the Router
-Resetting the Router
-Disabling the Router and PC Firewalls
-Forcing an IPv4 change
-Deleting/Re-forwarding the port openings
As I said, there are multiple clients from different endpoints. So it's not the fault of "one client" either.
The version we all run is 19402 deliberately. We have tried updating to the newest version and using the DCS Updater Utility to move to an older version. We have double checked the net code and the version number in the log files. We have all run full repairs and of course I also reinstalled the game.
I have never ever seen something like this and I simply don't know how it's possible that the client still gets a "Server offline" notification.
I doubt any of you could help with this, but I am so desperate that it's worth a shot
