Interesting catch, thanks for letting me know. Can you please report it in the AI bugs and problems section so it's on ED's radar? This could explain a lot of weird AI behavior.

Do you have a track?
no sir I don’t have a track. I told myself to save it after the mission and I just clicked end mission as always. Dohwhen I get a chance I’ll report it on the ai bugs section. Thanks.

Hello, reporting a bug, I just played mission 4 on the rtb back to England the AI started flying very slow and climbing. I noticed my ASI acting as a altimeter. (Pitot Ice or blocked pitot) not sure why I wrote engine ice in the title! A few stalled out and crashed (Like rookie IFR students
) then the rest just bobbled along sometimes running into each other at the airfield and not a single one landed.
I turned on my pitot heat and was able to land fine. Not sure if there is anything you can even do about this, and I found it interesting that AI was affected by pitot ice at all. Its annoying to get ice in vmc but that's a dcs issues.
Anyway, maybe it's a one off but thought to let you know. Keep up the good work.
Thanks.

Do you normally use simple comms? It’s forced off in this campaign. So the comms menu only works on the ground (like in all aircraft) otgerwise you have to use the push to talk mic button.
So I just tried it. I have the copilot radio controls mapped but doesn’t work. I have to switch over to the right seat to operate the f10 menu with the ptt. Again could be on my end. I could just be a dummy.

Yes I do. Or have anyway. Good to know. Thanks again. It has worked fine in other missions just thought it was weird.

You’re using the comms menu button and mot the mic button.
I believe I tried both but I do use the comms menu first typically. I’ll check later thanks.

Hey love the campaign. Lots of fun. Small problem the F10 menu on Mission 4 would only work on the ground. Not ideal for that mission. Maybe it's on my end. Merry Christmas.

I am a Cfi and have tailwheel rating irl. You almost always will use rudder in direction of the turn with adverse yaw as stated above.
otherwise you will skid and if slow enough with enough aoa, spin.

I chose the option to do the refueling again and unfortunately didn’t work. I could not contact the tanker and had to do a case3 just through the regular menu and lost any dialog after. Just wondering if I did something wrong so I don’t mess it up on future missions.
thank you

Hello, I posted this on reflecteds page as this was on mission 4 of the wolf pack campaign. Anyway a bit of a bug, on the rtb back to England the AI started flying very slow and climbing. I noticed my ASI acting as an altimeter. (Pitot Ice or blocked pitot) A few stalled out and crashed (Like rookie IFR students ;) ) then the rest just bobbled along sometimes running into each other at the airfield and not a single one landed.
I turned on my pitot heat and was able to land fine. Not sure if there is anything you can even do about this, and I found it interesting that AI was affected by pitot ice at all. It’s annoying to get ice in vmc but that's a different issue.
Anyway, maybe it's a one off but thought to let you know. Keep up the good work.
Thanks.
Sorry no track… I forgot to save it.
