  1. We have tried to fly a few times with 7-8 Aircraft on the Harry S. Truman, with the new deck crew installed. We either get "awaiting ATC" or "Awaiting crew member" and no one is given permission to taxi to the CAT. Since there is no way to override this function and it is unresponsive to salute commands etc, we have elected to stop flying with the new deck crew features and return to basic super carrier. No statics present on deck, and bug is present on both Sinai map and Syria map. All players spawned in at roughly the same time Multiple Server restarts were attempted, issue persist.
  2. Did you find a place to land? I run a group that might meet what you are looking for in terms of a good blend between casual and serious. Let me know!
  3. ####EDIT: Recruiting is Full at this time. We will Repost and upvote when more slots are available. Looking for 2-4 F/A-18C folks who want to fly as part of a small but growing Virtual Wing. Right now, we are looking to onboard 2-3 players. We have a Initial Qual Training where we will have you learn our SOPs. We are not looking to make you learn the NATOPS, but rather some simple procedures such as Comms Checks, Nav Checks, Taxi /Line up, Departures both IFR / VFR, AR Rendezvous, Refueling and Exit, Tactical Check ins, Fence in checks and more. In IQT we don't expect you to be an expert in the standards, but we check if you can function as a proper member of the SQ. After learning the basics, we have a MQT or Mission Qualification Training- This is where we will take you up as two or lead, and we will conduct basic mission training in the various Hornet Mission Sets in a training environment. A Capstone Check ride will be provided where you will demo all the standards and conduct a full mission profile as lead of a 3 - 4 ship. Finally after jumping through these hoops, you will gain the title of CMR (Combat Mission Ready), but you won't be done there. While we do simulate a Marine Squadron, we train to also fight from the boat! We will teach you all the basics for a proper Case 1 and Case 3 departure and recovery. As well as proper procedure per our SOP for carrier deck ops! If this sounds fun please send me a DM! We will Train and Onboard folks in cycles and fly "Cruises" or "Deployments" but our goal is to have 8-12 players every week. Currently we have about 5-7. A Good Attitude, a solid sense of humor and the ability to survive some brutal debriefs is a must. But if you have a desire to fly procedure, coordinate and employ as a Squadron, Flight and Element to solve tactical problems and replicate .mil ops.... Then we may be a good place for you! Reply here and we will link up! v/r Nomad VMFA-232 vSQ/CC
  4. Negative. I checked that and random system failures. Got the error 5 flights in a row on takeoff or climb out. . It really is bizarre. If I get time tonight I’ll try to replicate it again and put it on YouTube to share.
  5. Has anyone experimented with a Loadout as follows, 4x JSOW Unitary Broach, with 2x Harm, 2x AIM 120 and 2X AIM-9x. I recently did and had electrics issues and engine faults/failures. Usually on takeoff or when engaging AB. I was getting a Right AB Nozzle failure followed by Left Gen and hydraulic issues to name a few. I sifted thru the F-18 open source -1 floating around on the net and can’t find any reason for this. I tried it self start and AutoStart! Naturally I have now degraded or lost one engine, but I also get a flashing interior and battery lights and crazy electrics in the jet. I also heard an audible thumping. However upon performing an emergency jettison the electrics return to normal but the damage is done. Cannot restart left generator/engine. thoughts? Bug? Something more simple?
