Sperling's post in DCS: MiG-29 Fulcrum external fuel tank was marked as the answer
So guys, I think the problem is solved. Whoever in all the MiG 29 Liveries the hook in the “Payload Restriction” menue for the external Tank was unchecked. Checked it on, so that the green hook says its fine - unchecked Payload Restrictions and voila - i can use the external Droptank.
