Esc key not working in multiplayer

I have this issue intermittently. When it occurs, none of the commands from the UI Layer will work at all (Active Pause, End Mission, Frame Rate Counter, Time accelerate, etc.) regardless of what keystroke or control they are mapped to. -

I have the exact same issue. Also affects the map and mouse selection location in the Mission Editor.
