I should have explained it better. The old Option was like a "Pre-Set" for the Code IN THE AIRCRAFT (TGP/LST).
You had to set the WEAPON Code on Ground before Engine Start in the Kneeboard Page, to match that Number.
It was just practical for our Squadron Missions if a certain machine (e.g. Viper 1-1 has 1611, Viper 1-2 1612....) always had the same code and it was already preset.
Good for lazy pilots 🙂
Edit: I tested it out - all good. Code will also be Set in the Aircraft.
