Figured it out. I switched back and forth between MT and non. It looks like I had somehow found a way to enable MSAA along with DLSS which was causing the issue. I reset graphics to "medium" and everything works now. I keep upping settings and it's super smooth so it seems to have been fixed. Thanks for all the quick help gents.

Thanks for the quick replies. -My GPU is a 3080Ti -I adjusted preload radius to 40,600 -manually adjusted page size to 32768 Still crashing, seems like similar error. Any thoughts? dcs.log-20231128-201808.zip

I'm getting crashes whenever I start any training or mission in DCS. I don't have any mods and i've gone down a version in Beta but the problem persists. Can someone help me decipher the crash log to understand what could be causing this? dcs.log-20231128-192727.zip

I have a Orion HOTAS and everything is programmed just fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to set the parking brake. The parking brake has programming options in DCS such as CW, CCW, Pull and Push. It looks like you need a combo of two of those to engage and disengage the parking brake. Anyone point me in the right direction on how to do that?

Thanks everyone for the tips. I've not yet perfected Case 1 landings but i'd say i'm good for 50% of those, so perhaps some more time will help improve my skills. I've hit the basket a few times now, but it is definitely tough and once I do engage the basket I struggle keeping it there. Appreciate all the help.

Hose. F-18. I seem to be doing okay with the throttle. Working it back and forth a bit for a slow approach, but I'm struggling with the pitch/roll of the aircraft.

Relatively new guy, going through all the missions and trying to figure out how to complete air to air refueling. I have an Orion F18 stick and have left it default settings. Any tips or tricks? I've seen a couple of youtube videos but I'm struggling to keep the movements small.

Sorry, newbie question here. I'm working my way through some missions and trying to understand how I know when I am maintaining radar lock after firing an AIM-7? Basically, I need to know how much can I deviate from my course and still provide information to the missile? Is there a way to judge this with the radar?

Ahh. Okay. Thanks. I have the carrier group, but was just going through the DCS missions that come with the F18 module in DCS. It drives me crazy to complete a mission and get a 0 or a 40/100 when I don't understand what the criteria for success is. Looks like that's just how it's build though, so i'll try and move on and just use them as a training tool.

Sorry newbie question here. I'm working my way through all the F18 missions in DCS and I can't quite figure out how the scoring works. Do I get points for landing back at base after an air strike or can I just end the missions? I just completed the CASE carrier landing Stage 1 and received a score of 0 despite landing successfully (line 4....i don't wanna talk about it). Do I have to park the aircraft to get a score? I was approved for approach and landing. If there's a tip sheet or guide on how missions are scored that would be really helpful.

OK, so new guy here but i've now attempted the Georgian Oil war, Day 1 no less than 12 times and been shot down every time by a SAM site. I've been approaching from the water where it looks like there is a SAM site near the coast. However, even with labels on i'm having an extremely hard time identifying them through the Shkval optics on the SU-25. Any tips on how to identify these and not get shot down would be helpful. I locked onto an SA-9 last time and blew it up with the 29L, but was locked shortly again and shot out of the sky by what I assume is another one.

FNG here! Just installed DCS and am working my way through some trainings and trying a campaign with the SU-25. I've primarily been running iRacing and motorsports simulators, but this is a whole new ballgame and i'm looking forward to the challenge.
