I’ve just gone back to the FA-18 after a while away with helos, and thought I’d have a go at the JDAM training scenario.
I follow the instructions from the training and all seems to be set up properly, I pickle the bombs (I’ve even hit F6 to follow them in to the target) and they don’t explode. They hit on target, they create a hole in the ground, but there’s just no satisfying boom!
I have been through this training mission before, about a year ago, and the bombs exploded.
I’ve tried 3 times now with the same result and, after some investigation of my own online, there seems to be a problem with fusing (maybe?) since the fusing update as the bombs act like duds and don’t seem to be arming.
