I've noticed that after T/O the canopy gets a tad hazy, are there vent ducts or should I be using the cockpit heater to clear the canopy?

Sooo many view buttons, so much confusion (on my part). Can someone pinpoint the zoom button I should be using with VR? The type that returns to default after it's released. That would be for in the cockpit, which one I tried, IIRC, but nothing happened. I'm trying to assign it to a VKB Gunfighter, if that matters. So I can do my own fishing in the future, is there any literature on what all the buttons do and which ones pertain to my application? TIA
