  1. Like @Antonisrho and @-Sky- are saying, for me it has also become a ghosting mess in VR since 2.9. Even with DLSS off and just DLAA on. MSAA indeed provides much better picture. Hate planes with a huge ghosting tail. Im on OpenXR, Mbucchia 1.13, 4080, 13600K and Quest Pro
  2. Hi Slughead so thats in the oculus app, not OTT right?
  3. Hi Tepnox thanks so much! This is one of the few good guides out there for the QuestPro. Having switched from G2 to Quest Pro meant a huge improvement for me. Just this tweaking for DCS with the USB-C cable is a bif of a hassle. Few questions I have that I was just wondering (sorry no tech guy here) So with the OpenXR embedded in the beta of DCS youre saying keep the default super sampling in OTT at 1.0 right? You mention encode resolution 3905. Other forums say for the QP needs 3600 max as this is the max horizontal resolution. Can you explain? So OTT is more fore tuning and ODT for checking the settings? Both seem to do kind of the same But fair to say, its a hugely underappreciated headset. For me its just so much better than the G2. Not losing sight anymore in a dogfigt because of the great contrast and great sweet spot is just awesome. Again, thanks for the settings and Ill keep on following this thread! Specs to be sure: 13600K, 4080, MSI Z690a, 64GB 3200, Quest Pro connected via USB-C cable Keep up the good work!
  4. I'd say a 4080 would do. Went from a 6800XT to 4080 and the difference is noticable. FPS are between 45-55 fps on busy MP servers but the experience is just butter smooth. No blurred experience, no stutters. Silky smooth. Great frametimes. Running on a 13600K, G2, 64GB 3200 CL16
  5. For what its worth: Been awaiting the 7900XTX for DCS VR with my G2 mainly. To replace my Asrock 6800XT. Sold my 6800XT too soon so was left without GPU. Wanted to pickup DCS again this Christmas so wanted to buy a GPU soon. Early VR tests of the 7900XTX made me pull the trigger for an Inno3D 4080 at 1399 euros. Still too much but more reasonable than the 2K+ 4090. Didnt want to wait until AMD fixes the drivers. My 6800XT always was pretty stable at around 40-55 fps but wobbly timeframes. 4080 experience is a lot better. FPS hovers between 45-60 fps but its way smoother, I think because if the low frametimes. Havent recorded the exact numbers but definetely feels a lot smoother, also on busy servers. Rest of rig is 13600K, 64Gb 3200 16, MSI Z690
  6. Hi all When I fly in VR (Reverb G2) and I want to chat in multiplayer by doing Shift-Tab, the chat window pops up but I dont seem to be able to enter words in the textbox. My mouse, which works fine when FLying, is suddenly disabled so I cant chat back to people. Any ideas?
