  1. Boris - same for me! I can see FC2 servers but no BS2. Patriot - Seems like it is a wider problem then! At least it appears that I haven't done something catastrophically wrong! It might be worth saying that I didn't do it through steam but from the dcs site. EDIT: I saw the servers flash up briefly but now gone again!
  2. I have also upgraded black shark 1.0.2 to BS2 1.1.1.0 and I can't see any servers whatsoever. I have tried waiting and I have also made sure that it is on the exceptions list for my firewall. Can anybody suggest anything please?
  3. I am in the same boat. I have tried the various options in other threads but have been unable to get any movement in game. Don't suppose you have found a solution in the mean time chap?
  4. Hey guys, Like some other people here I have not been able to get it to work. I have followed the correct steps (I believe) but have not been able to get it to work with fc2 or black shark. I am using windows vista 64bit and I have: Installed the faceapi file Installed facetracknoir (including the update to version 1.5) I then placed the headtracker folder into the bin directory of both fc2 and blackshark. I start facetracknoir (as administrator) with the profile set to the dcs a10c .ini file in the respective bin directory. I then set the output to freetrack. Facetracknoir seems to track my movements perfectly. I then start fc2 or black shark (as administrator) and nothing happens. I have tried the various key combinations listed (including alt+c) but it still doesn't work! I would be very thankful If anyone could help me out! [on a side not my bin directory seems empty except another folder labelled x86. Within this folder I find another named stable which seems to contain all the .dll files that other people's bin folders seems to contain. Any ideas?] Thanks in advance for anyone's help!
  5. I haven't been able to get it running on Vista 64-bit either
  6. Hi guys, I was wondering if one of you kind fellows might be able to help me out! I tried freetrack but as I am using Windows Vista 64-bit i don't think it will work! I have set up facetracknoIR and it track my movements correctly. My problem is that I can't get it to work in game. I am running Windows Vista 64 with the latest versions of Flaming Cliffs 2 and DCS Black Shark. I have tried using TrackIRfixer and using the fake trackIR setting - but it doesn't seem to do anything - i set TrackIRfixer running and it searches for games - it finds Lock On or Black Shark when I start either up but doesn't say that it is doing anything. Am I doing something wrong? I have copied them to the correct bin/stable file! (I think....) I have also tried to install 2 different versions of PPJoy and tried to get the unverified drivers to work by switching to test mode... still no luck! I get the error that Virtual joystick is not detected! Could anyone please help as I am running out of options! Thanks
  7. Hi Guys, I have been going around in circles and I am at my wits end! I know there is lots of material on similar subjects, but nothing has worked for me! I am at this stage:- Camera set up + IR LED fitted to my headset = Freetrack is set up and tracking my head ok. I am able to get in game head movement by mapping the Freetrack movement to the mouse movement. However... this just isn't good enough. I have tried to use TrackIRFixer... with no luck! It doesn't actually seem to do much at all! Is it because I am using Windows Vista 64bit? I have heard about a "wrapper" and copied the files across just incase they would work withFC2 and DCS Black Shark... But still no luck! Could someone help me out? Or should I give up? :joystick: Thanks!!!
  8. Hi Guys I already posted in the "bugs and problems" by mistake, would be great if someone could help me out: - For a while I have been struggling with this problem.... I am flying along... everything is fine... then suddenly the aircraft will pitch violently upwards. It may have something to do wit the throttle as when I increase power... the problem begins and stays... I have tried mapping the throttle to page up and page down and removed the Thrust = Z axis command in FC2. I have sticky keys turned off.... I have no idea what the problem could be! If it helps... I think it might be something to do with RCtrl being stuck on somehow? as when the aircraft is pitching violently buttons that require RCtrl to be pushed work ok... Any help will be greatly appreciated! :joystick: Thank you!!! :pilotfly:
  9. if you are talking about the route following mode, then I could understand why it would knock the autopilot out - if you are aiming a missile you dont want it to turn for you... However,,,, for roll and altitude hold... i dont know!
  10. Are you using the joystick software to give the key commands? If you are talking about the options menu in game then they have to be set for all aircraft. What type of mouse and joystick do you have?
  11. Rightyo... I think what you need to do is set the commands in the profiler software and DELETE the commands in FC2... have you done that? Otherwise there may be a conflict going on! Also... I assume you are talking about the A10? I had this problem too when I started... Try this... Have trigger one = cannon (Space bar i think?) Have trigger one + Pinky = weapons release (control and space? cant remember!) It works well in the action! Let me know how you get on
