  1. Thank you very much. I'll see if I can get this to work.
  2. Thanks for the reply mate. I'm new to this so will have to research how to use the on-off-on as on-on-on, and free on-off as on-on. I know its possible with DCS bios, but need to get some specific informations to do it as just a joystick. I wanted to get on-on-on switches to make like easier but couldn't find them cheap. As I've never done anything like this I'm a bit lost on the finer details at moment.
  3. Hey guys. I'm going to build my first panel and wanted some advice. Originally it was going to be an F18 panel that had most of the important switches combined into one panel. Then I decided to make it a bit more general to use with something else, like maybe the apache, also msfs2020. The original plan was to use DCS bios, but as I want it to be more general and also msfs2020 compatible, I think setting it up as a joystick is the best? I have some leds that I want to use, but was possibly going to hook them up to a separate arduino and just use DCS bios to trigger them separately to the inputs which I'll do on an Arduino mega. I have a bunch of switches that are on-off-on that I want to use as on-on-on. I was told that DCS bios can do this, but what about if I just set the panel up as a joystick? Can I still address those switches as I want? Any advice would be welcomed. Cheers, Mark.
  4. Ok cheers mate
  5. Ok, thanks for the reply buddy. Good to know it's mostly complete. Pretty new to DCS. Just tried 14 days trial on the f18 and now wanted to try the same with this, then pick one as my first module. Coming from regular flight simming (non combat), I'm really surprised at the little to no autopilot functionality in some of the military planes. The f18 wasn't too bad, with the ability to tie the AP to your route for flying waypoints, hands off autoload(although only on carrier), autothrottle etc., but the Harrier is really lacking any of this. Is anyone familiar with the real plane and later versions perhaps, if that functionality was added?
  6. Hey guys. I just wanted to check what the current state of this is? Are there many features or systems still to be implemented? Regards, Mark.
  7. Hey guys. New to DCS and trying to get Helios to work over the network, so I can run Capt Zeen's F18 profile on my laptop. I watched a few things on it but can't get it to work. I saw some mention of setting up a ghost monitor to render the stuff to on your main rig but no description on how to actually do that. I am running a single screen 5120x1440, but actually running @ 3840x1080 to get better performance. When I setup the profile and started the app it just renders the overlay on teh primary monitor. The monitor config options in helios editor are not very intuative. I want to have the F18 cockpit running on my surface pro over the network with MFD's, button presses etc. working. Can anyone talk me through the setup of this please, as I am lost Cheers, Mark.
