All, New to the F16 and I'm working through the training missions to get some proficiency. I'm in Mission 14 ANG 85K Maverick. I can't get the thing to fire. I have mapped my A10 joy stick to the controls in the f16 game and it doesnt seem to work. My DMS is set on the joystick but in the lesson its controling "view center and seat up and down". Can some one help? Also, can some in simple step istruction list the steps to SOI, DMS, TMS in course corralate and then fire?

Rob 10 resolved the issue by going to settings > game play and turning it off

Yes, I guess. It used to take place on an airfield with slower instructions. I don't know maybe it's me.

Hello, I've been flying DCS F18 and F14 for 8 months now and I have now had an issue with the F14B training missions. They start in order of learning, Ex: Mission - cold start, Mission 2 taxi/ take off. ect... So, my problem is I progressed to carrier take off, but when I go back to cold start (mission 1), it starts on the carrier take off mission. I can't seem to go back to the cold start. I want to get reps in so I can do it from memory and not miss things. LMK if you have any suggestions . Thanks

landing C NO HAT with rise.trk This is my track. This is a Case 1 landing. I wanted to show how the plane rises with no stick input. i set the jet up for case 1 and you'll see the problem. I scan the cockpit and show flap setting and look out side to see flap position. Hope this can give you an idea. Thanks all

The problem gets worse with case 1 landing or any landing as staying on speed is not possible for me without the trim hat. I don't get any pitch at all. Landing becomes impossible for this reason. HOTAS binding shows connection.

This is exactly what I'm experiencing. I don't understand it. I was wondering if my warthog HOTAS needs driver updates or something. Does your trim hat work at all? Mine dose not.

I forgot to add that my APU is running then shuts down during the begining of any mission. wied stuff for sure. Im gonna try to make a video clip to show

Uninstalled and reinstalled game. Same issue continues. Level flight is not atcheivable as there is a constant rise in alttitude probably 3 degrees when stick is centered. Trim hat not responding in game. however, in contol set up, it seems to be working as far as binding to the hat. not sure what to do now.

No, I had flaps at half at take of and full on downwind leg for case 1. Take off is possible, it's flight and landing that is tuff.

Is anyone having flight control issues with their joystick? My trim hat is unresponsive, and the plane wants to climb when trying to fly level. I'm using BETA 2.8. Case 1 landing are impossible as I can't get on speed with the trim hat not responding in game play. I went to set up and flight controls appear to be functioning with binds.

I'm having 2 issues with my comms. 1. When I hail an aircraft carrier for "in-bound" I get NO response. 2. I had my Throttle four-way thumb button set for opening my comms menu up or down opened comms menu. Front back is rudder in flight or nose wheel steering on ground. I have lost the comms option and can't restore. I have it bound in the controller settings. Rudder and NWS work. Any suggestions? Thanks for considering!

Its the same one i've been using since i started 3 months ago.. I was thinking that too. When i open up my comms list, ACT is in a different spot. That is new.

Hello, New to DCS. I've been flying the F18 for several months. Not sure whats going on, but my comms are not talking to the carrier. If im practicing case 1 landings, Marshall will not respond. Not sure what is happening. Any thoughts? Also, Im learning F14B and after cold start and take off, Flaps and Gear do not retract. All started at the same time.

Hello, My 1st post and new to DCS. I'm having issues with the standard missions in the DCS F18 game. The Carrier take off/ cold start is one. I've started the mission and taken off, however when I quit the game and come back the game starts in flight. Why? How to reset? Same with supper carrier take off, Same problem, starts in flight! Mission 2 - CAS. any suggestions on NOT getting killed by a SAM? Can't seem to complete the mission.
