I was never gifted anything, and Support confirms the trial versions do not trigger a "first time purchase". I was offered the discount, then I wasn't, after I downloaded a trial. I'm not allowed to post what they responded with but suffice to say it amounts to "You should have submitted a ticket when it happened!" Still negotiating, however. Wish me luck!

Well, all I know is it's supposed to pop up automatically offering the discount (which it did at first), and it no longer did so after I downloaded a free trial. And it's not just "first purchase": This offer will be shown every time until the user makes the first purchase or receives the first license. ETA: I submitted a ticket to support, we'll see what they say. Thanks, everyone!

You think? I just saw the fine print about it including *any* license download, even free trials, and figured that was the end of it.

Greetings, I was getting ready to drop some serious coin on the EShop, taking advantage of the first time order %50 discount, when I notice that the "first order" includes free trails. There goes my %50 discount on my first order! That seems kind of like a slap in the face to new users, doesn't it?
