  1. Did you ever get an answer or resolve this? I’m having the same issue now. I’ve been wondering if I have too many Leo boards since it just started happening with I added the latest one. I program all the key binds and randomly they get swapped to another board.
  2. Recent issue where DCS mixes up various Leo Bodnar input cards. Control bindings get assigned to another card, etc. Is there a max number of inputs we can have? all input cards are showing up in DCS, but the bindings randomly get assigned to another one.
  3. I'm having an issue with my setup and DCS and could really use some feedback/thoughts from this community. Basically, DCS isn't remembering or is confusing some Leo Bodnar cards (or some generic joystick cards), so all key binds for one card are swapped to another card. After it happened the first time, I redid them all, but its happened again and again, and I'm just trying to gain insight as to why, or if there are any best practices I can look into or something I'm missing. Due to an occasional need to take part of my pit downstairs for more cutting/construction, my pit is modular (left console, right console, center section and the MIP, HUD section). Each has its own USB powered hub, and each hub might have 1 or 2 usb cards. I don't imagine this setup would be contributing to my issue, but I'm running out of ideas. And it's killing the flying time when I climb in and things aren't working right. Too many usb cards for DCS? Power on procedure need to change? Any input is appreciated.
  4. I started a new mission in the Hornet recently that spawned inside a CLOSED hangar. The door began to open as soon as I got in the jet, but I'd never seen this before. Very cool. So in an effort to replicate, this is what happens now. A hangar half open, with a large Turkey flag hanging. Regardless of cold start, hot start, etc, this is what happens. Tried another hangar with same result. I thought perhaps this was because the airfield was not 'blue' or 'red', but this had no effect. This is Syria map I believe. null
  5. I was able to locate and purchase a used Super Libra stick base, though the previous owner has it set up with different cams and springs for X and Y axis. No idea why, but I need the cams and springs kit to reset/readjust. This seller doesn't have them any longer. Anyone have them and willing to part?
  6. Another “checkbox option” I’d love to see is “HUD with canopy bow only”. Ive found that, while flying in a HUD only view is beautiful, not having any horizontal or spacial reference point ( like the cockpit or the canopy bow), it’s much harder to get a feel for the planes attitude. Not to mention when refueling the probe doesn’t show up at all, making that harder/impossible. So sadly, while I have much of the Hornet cockpit replicated in an actual pit I’m sitting in, I still fly with a single monitor and head tracking. And still have to see the cockpit duplicated in screen. Sigh…
  7. Revisiting this thread with an additional question. (and yes, i found the file I wasn't able to locate previously). So - I've got the HUD only view working now, with one issue. While the 3 DDI's from Winwing work fine while using this HUD only view, the center UFC does not. It stops syncing with DCS whenever I use this HUD only view. If I switch back to the normal view, it returns to being fully functional. I've read elsewhere that may be because when it's been removed it doesn't have anywhere it getting data from, and that the solution to this problem is to not 'remove' the instruments from the HUD view, but just 'relocate' them off the main screen. This way, they are not being shown, but their data is still present. Wondering if anyone has any experience with this.
  8. Thanks, Ironhand. Yes, I've enabled all those "show hidden" options and still have no file. I was able to find one online and download it (NOW it finds that file in search), but I doubt that wouldn't have things in it not applicable to my setup. For instance, I'm not in VR, but this is in that file: if LockOn_Options.screen.oculus_rift then local ui_x,ui_y,ui_w,ui_h = get_UIMainView() w = ui_w; h = ui_h; end
  9. I’m starting to wonder if Win11 has certain files or folders hidden. Maybe permissions or something. This computer is 3 months old and DCS is the only thing that it gets used for.
  10. Yeah, don't have that file. Maybe it's created when the MIP is setup. I'll have to try again once that gear arrives.
  11. OK< likely super dumb question here... but is it possible I don't have this viewporthandling.lua file yet? Win11 search doesn't locate it at all. (Mac guy here )
  12. Thanks! I'll give it a go today. Appreciate it.
  13. Would you elaborate on how this is accomplished, using ovgame to handle this? I fly in a squadron with our own server, so I think passing IC would not be a problem.
  14. I’ve been experiencing random disconnects from my Orion2 base as well. I first switched it to its own powered hub, since turning the power off and back on seems to re-activate it. I’m currently trying to leave out the hub altogether and go straight into computer, so we’ll see if that has any effect. Others I’ve read have said this might be a windows usb/ device manager thing, like it’s putting a usb input to sleep. Certainly sounds like that could be something, so I’m looking into that, too. I’ve got a lot invested in WinWing as well, and have been a big supporter of theirs. But their customer service is really lacking, likely due to the language barrier. Just watch their YouTube product videos and can see this in action. So I’m really hoping they can get this issue solved before too long. It sounds like the firmware update is being worked on as we speak.
