Same experience here. Not consistent but when it does occur it's as if the CCRP auto-calculation drops the bomb too early and once the laser starts (auto) it's no longer in its cone of detection. With manual trigger of the laser closer to the bomb drop it does get detected and the bomb hits just fine. Seems unrelated to target elevation, aircraft altitude and/or speed.
