So...no one on here answered my question...SOLVED...I deleted ALL my DCS and STEAM DCS installations...even my Missions that I spent hours on. Rebooted...then installed DCS OPEN BETA...more graphical effects...AND...IFLOLS was back!! Even the pop up window in cockpit! Which I COUNT ON in VR...since DCS is lagging in VR.
HOWEVER...with 2.8 DCS...VR...is worse than below average....
After reading forums...seems more graphical effects means more CPU and GPU usage.
So I deleted DCS OPEN BETA.
Installed STEAM DCS 2.7...EVERYTHING worked....and program runs FASTER.
MORAL of the story....testing...tweaking...deleting saved games folder....doesnt work. To save MY STRESS DETRIMATE....when something fails and I cant figure it out..on MY OWN...delete and re install.
Been working on this for over 3 mos...countless hours...took me 2 HOURS to delete and re install! Missions in all Regions will take about 3 or 4 days to rebuild.
After all the Money and Time I have invested in this Game....no intention of giving up! Hope the Eagle Dynamics Team dont get burned out and give up either!
