  1. Alright people I got some breakthroughs to share For everyone else out there who might be facing issues, I've managed with my specs (see at the end of the post) to get 72fps, almost stable with small amount and very tiny stutters. My story goes as follows: First of all, for people using Pico 4 with cable (USB-C 3.2), with the tethering trick, in your VirtualDesktop (VD) in PC you need to activate "Encrypt local traffic". This will prevent you from getting BSODs (found that the hard way). An issue that I got was that although I was getting 60fps for some reason even in the menu, my frames were dropping to 35 only to come back to 60 after 2 seconds. I realized that this was more like a pattern, so searching about it revealed that this was caused by SSW in Pico's VD named "Synchronous Spacewarp". By turning it off help on reaching for 72fps stable. My Pico 4 settings in VD: - Resolution -> Ultra (RX9070XT) - Environment Quality -> High - Frame rate -> 72fps - Desktop bitrate -> 120mbps - VR Framerate -> 72 fps - VR Bitrate -> 120mbps - Sharpening -> 75% My DCS settings are bellow (Obviously you need to have the "Enable VR headset" option, it's not in my settings as I opened them in 2D to make the screenshots): null PC SPECS: I7-13700k 32GB RAM RX9070XT SSD (with only DCS in)
  2. Which GPU are you using if you don't mind me asking? Because these settings, I cannot have them even in 2D... So either you are using a 4090/5080ti/5090 or I need to burn my diplomas... As for Pico Connect, I did try it but I didn't get much results from it... Especially with SteamVR. I'll try it again and try to tweak it but I don't have that much faith in it.
  3. Hi everyone, I've purchased very recently a Pico 4 and I'm trying to set it up, although I'm a tech guy, I never had VR before so I'm out here for help and couple advises. After tweaking a lot I managed to have 72fps stable. This is what I've done so far: VD in Pico installed and running on 72 fps frame rate, 72 video frame rate, 120 mbps video bit rate, Ultra settings. VD on pc with HEVC, VDXR, Encrypting local traffic for that stupid BSOD (I'm using a 3.2 USB-C cable with the tethering trick) OpenXR toolkit installed but nothing really tweaked there. So as a matter of fact, no matter what I'll do, everything feels blurry in the cockpit and everywhere around, especially in cockpit, like numbers indications, lights etc. It feels like everything is zoomed and blurred at the same time. I get it that it might has to be that I'm running the whole thing in low settings to have these 72fps stable, but I've seen other people on Yt videos having their picture seem crystal clean. So i'm not sure what I'm missing here. On the other hand maybe I'm not missing something as this might be the drawback of using VR... I'll post my specs and screenshots of my settings rn in DCS. If you have any sort of suggestion to make it look nicer and more practical for PvP servers I would really appreciate your help. null PC SPECS: I7-13700k 32GB RAM RX9070XT SSD (with only DCS in)
  4. For anyone out there still using Logitech X-5X series! Give this guy a shout! I didn't retire my X-56 because of his solution and it works smooth as butter!!!! Definitely try it!!!
  5. Hey Razo+r, Spark plugs: In the duration of 30 mins, cleaned 2 times: a) Once after take-off b) Once during climbing Oil and water temp within limits. Proper warmup, not sure as it's an "always" routine, hardcoded in my brain, but I think yes. Interestingly, this is the first time that this has ever happened to me.
  6. Same issue happened to me, with my Sptifire in "Beware! Beware!" campaign. Was running the engine on optimal RPM (no further than 2850) and it happened while cruising. I was on 21.000 feet, 2650 RPM, +4 Boost when the engine just shut down out of the blue. Not even in dogfight. In the aftermath was saying "Engine #1 Degraded".
