Ok after a short google and a couple youtube videos I have fixed the problem. I was running out of space on my C drive so I moved my DCS folder and Saved games folder to a empty 500 GB SSD. Simple cut and pastee of the DCS folder and renaming the location of the Saved Games folder. After that I got the latest update and copied the executables to my desktop for the new location and all is well.
