1) If you're using your own profile
a) can I have it
b) restore the old lua
c) try disabling things that aren't the dcs-exportscript in exports.lua to find any conflicts. Especially try reverting everything to default - I've just noticed one app that requires even the --comments-- around the actual line to be just-as-they-put-it or it won't work. (???)
2) if you're using this profile https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3331910/ you need to use the included lua file. I don't know if its missing anything from more up to date files, but it works

I have tried unsuccessfully to entice Winwing to enable this for other modules, the help ticket staff tried to be helpful but we ended talking around in circles, that it was not a bug but a feature request. They are usually actually pretty good and have introduced some quick fixes when bugs were raised, but not this time.
So basically they need a way to activate different DCS 'argument' numbers based on module, which are never the same. I think the F18 big red gear light corresponds to "left generator off" in the F4, for example - same number, different module.
So please do ask Winwing about a custom argument system, maybe someone else will get through
